Head of Operations at SUPERFLEX (maternity leave) from March to September 2019.
We are looking for a responsible and energetic Head of Operations.
As head of the department, you will be in charge of the overall coordination of exhibitions and projects all over the world, while taking good care of the daily operations in the studio.
Responsibilities and tasks
The position includes a great variety of responsibilities, from the development of budgets and overview of the economy to communication with galleries and clients. Therefore, it is important to have good organisational skills, in order to manage the time efficiently and prioritise the tasks. It is also important to think creatively and have the capacity to find alternative solutions when necessary.
You will refer directly to the director of the studio. It is an exciting and challenging position with future prospects in a growing studio in constant development.
-You possess a relevant educational background and coordination/project management experience.
-You have good communication skills.
-You have worked in e-conomic and have basic calculation skills.
-You are detail-oriented and resolutive.
-You are responsible.
-You can keep the team on track within a timeline as well as adapt when needed.
-You are good at working independently and in teams.
-Good writing skills. You are highly skilled in both written and spoken English. Speaking and writing in Danish can be an advantage but it is not a must.
-You are able to fully commit for the period March-September.

SUPERFLEX is now accepting applications for the next internship period, January-June 2019. The deadline for the applications is Monday 12th November 2018.
As an intern you will get plenty of opportunities to work on varied projects. SUPERFLEX works within film, painting, sculpture, installations, projects for galleries, museums and public spaces in Denmark and abroad. Depending on your skills and areas of interest you will take part in and be responsible for projects while hopefully learning something new.
We are looking for interns within:
– Project Coordination
– Social Media
As a project coordination/communication intern, work tasks could be:
- Coordinating tasks associated with exhibitions and projects
- Contact with national and international partners
- Research related to exhibitions and projects
- Research and coordination of production
- Text production in Danish and English as well as proofreading
- Assisting in the development of work in the studio
- Assisting in the management of the social media platforms.
As a architecture/design intern, work tasks could be:
- 2D/3D design and experiments
- Technical renderings and drawings
- concept development and research for projects
- producing project presentations
-good knowledge of the Adobe Package (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign) and Rhinoceros will be highly valued.
We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and can handle deadliness and work independently as well as collaboratively. Core to all positions is that you have a keen interest in contemporary art, architecture or design. Bonus if you have previous experience with similar projects in the cultural sector.
Please note that we do not offer shorter internships or internships that start/end outside of the designated periods. All internships are also on a voluntary basis and without pay.
