SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen and Rasmus Nielsen. With a diverse and complex practice, SUPERFLEX challenges the role of the artist in contemporary society and explores the nature of globalisation and systems of power. They are known for art works with wit and subversive humour that address serious social and cultural concerns. SUPERFLEX describe their works as tools - thereby suggesting multiple areas of application and use.

SUPERFLEX have grown recently with many more projects coming in. Therefore, we are currently seeking trainees to help out. Within the studio everyone has their own responsibilities but we also collaborate and work across disciplines. Overall, we are flexible and work together in order to get the job done. Within our studio we also like to have a close culture.

We are currently looking for trainees within:

- Project Coordination
- Architecture
- Graphic design
- Production
- Communication

The work itself may consist of:

- 2D/3D Design
- Technical renderings and drawings
- Coordination of tasks associated with exhibitions and projects
- Contact with national and international partners
- Research related to exhibitions and projects
- Text production in Danish and English as well as proofreading
- Coordinating tasks with the studio's work server
- Assisting in the development of work in the studio
- Varied administration tasks

As an intern you will get plenty of opportunities to work on varied projects. SUPERFLEX works within film, painting, sculpture, installations, projects for galleries, museums and public spaces in Denmark and abroad. Depending on your skills and areas of interest you will take part in and be responsible for projects while hopefully learning something new. You will work on several projects simultaneously while also taking care of small practical tasks. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and can handle deadliness and work independently as well as collaboratively. Please note that all internships are without pay.

Core to all positions is that you have a keen interest in contemporary art, architecture or design. Bonus if you have previous experience with similar projects in the cultural sector.

Sounds interesting? Please send your application and CV to: asap. Final deadline is November 6 2017 at 12 AM. Interviews will take place in week 46.
